As a tribute to the brand’s passion for the equestrian world, Longines is launching a new line with shapes and materials inspired by iconic elements of the equine world. Arches on racetracks evoking horseshoes, stirrups acting as supports to follow their horse around the high jump course, fine leather of saddles: all these strong images are found in the bold lines of these watches dedicated to female equestrian sports lovers.
The Longines Equestrian Pocket Watch “Lépine” is a classic masterpiece. This metal pocket watch is kept in the Musée Longines Saint- Imier and was the inspiration for The Longines Equestrian Pocketwatch Horses Trio in 1911 .
The new rose gold pocket watch underlines the passion of Longines for equestrian and is available in a very limited edition numbered copies. The creation of a diameter of 48.20 mm on the back side is decorated with an engraving of a trio horses. Equipped with a manual on winding L878.4 caliber developed exclusively for Longines .

The most exciting launch of last week was for sure the new Hunter Boots collection “Duke of Wellington” by Hunter Fields. I am a huge fan of classy British brands and if a collection is also equestrian inspired, we want to be first in line to discover it.
The all-purpose equestrian collection, set to launch in Spring 2016, is the first collaboration within Hunter’s new brand category, Hunter Field. The launch event was held at Apsley House, the home of the first Duke of Wellington, in the same week as the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo. Apsley House, also known as Number One, London, stands alone at Hyde Park Corner, a must visit when you are in London.
Developed with their technical experts in the equestrian field, the collection comprises men’s and women’s leather and rubber boots including riding and jodhpur styles, all with scarlet red heel features inspired by the Duke’s original Wellington Boot, and discreet Duke of Wellington x Hunter Field branding.

Favorites first, right? French fashion house Hermès has it all. Those little “rodeo horse” bagcharms are to die for and they look stunning on your (hopefully authentic) Birkin bag. Prices start at +- 800$.
If you are in the mood for something smaller and more sophisticated, these cute leather Hermès straps will definitely make your bag more elegant.
Let’s move on to Gucci, the Italian brand is since years a decent value in horse sport (Gucci Masters Paris) and their collections are always equestrian inspired. This keychain is a real eye-catcher on every bag. Price +- 350$.
A little bit more affordable but still very classy is this little Ralph Lauren horse. The soft caramel leather becomes a bit dirty after heavy use but that gives it some charm.

The beauty industry is booming business and beautyblogs are rising out of the ground. But in contrast to the fashion industry, the beauty guru’s don’t find their inspiration in the equestrian scene. Why not? It’s not because we love the country life, we roll into the mud all day, right?
The French beauty brand “Chantecaille ” is actualy the only brand that dedicated a collection to the equestrian world during the year of the horse in 2013. Inspired by the magnificent beauty and free spirit of wild horses, they created a striking palette that effortlessly compliments the equestrian lifestyle.
The 4 shades: Black Stallion – Palomino – Mustang and Freedom are embodying the spirit of nature and the wild horses in the American landscape for centuries. The palette is gorgeous, with its beautiful horses on each shade. A real collector’s item for beauty and horse lovers.
Chantecaille is the preeminent luxury brand for skincare and beautifying cosmetics known for its uniquely high concentration of natural botanicals. Their goal is to set a standard in the world of cosmetics while speading awareness on global issues.
