St. Moritz has played host to the world’s pre-eminent snow polo tournament since 1985. Besides being the first-ever snow polo tournament, the Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz is the only “high goal” polo tournament played on snow. Cradled in a gorgeous natural setting, the Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz exudes a unique atmosphere on and alongside the playing field. Welcome to St. Moritz, the home of snow polo!Founder and organiser of the event and Godfather of snow polo, Reto Gaudenzi opened the tournament at the players’ presentation with these wise words: “Polo without champagne is like polo without horses” and so the tone was set for the weekend, with Perrier-Jouët flowing non-stop, keeping chilled pitch-side as the action on the ice heated-up.Rommy Gianni’s Team Cartier win the Snow Polo World Cup 2017. In the Final, they beat Melissa Ganzi and her Team Badrutt’s Palace Hotel with 7-4. In the final of the runnners-up, Team Perrier-Jouët takes its first victory – beating James Beh’s Team Maserati with 4-5. The 15 000 fans who gathered the event over the three tournament days set a new record.
Bye polo ponys, see you next year!

Walking through the streets of Paris, soaking up the atmosphere of the French allure and stumbling into a wonderful equestrian leather shop nearby the Arc de Triomphe. Let’s meet the famous saddlery Guibert Paris.Founder Pierre Guibert, who is a passionate rider and real horseman started creating leather goods in 1999. What caught my attention in his collection is the combination of top quality materials and purity of design. Everybody is looking for that “je ne sais quoi” Parisian chic style. Well, Guibert brings this type of look into the equestrian world. It’s the third season in a row, they come up with the Guinete NY x Guibert capsule collection in collaboration with designer Frédérique Dessemond. The best of both worlds, where the iconic and prestigious leather pieces by Guibert meet a touch of glamour and fantasy by Dessemond. A funny and playful accent in the collection is the Quarter Marker pattern. A geometric gloss stencil which is applied to the horse’s rump during equestrian shows. Its origin is military and it was one of the first psychological weapons of the war. The Quarter Marker allowed to mask the weakness of the cavalry by beautifying the rumps of the horses and give them a stronger appearance. When we need to describe the Guinete NY x Guibert collection, keywords would be “timeless“, “chic” and “elegant“. The lifestyle and equestrian collection of the fashion house Guibert itself is also describable in superlatives. We absolutely adore the equestrian bracelets, which are a real eyecatcher and pure craftmanship.Equestrian fashionistas who are in Paris must take a stop at the Avenue Victor Hugo to discover the classy leather collection for the horse. Style is an attitude. To finish off your Parisian chic look, amaze the equestrian scene with this beautiful jewelry. We’ve made a fine selection of our favorite items, off course there’s more.
